BOSTON - BostonChron -- Student resilience is a real issue that impacts the lives of thousands of students across the country. One out of every four college student suffers from a form of emotional uncertainty, and 30 percent of college students report feeling "so depressed that it was difficult to function" at some time in the past year.

Recent research shows a positive correlations between GPA and perseverance (r= .20, p <.05) and reflecting and adaptive help-seeking (r= .37, p<.01). The results of the multiple regression analysis manifested reflecting and adaptive help-seeking to be the only significant predictor of a higher GPA.
