NYC-born, L.A. based indie publisher challenges conventional notions of literary classics.
LOS ANGELES - BostonChron -- Known for its commitment to publishing queer and avant-garde literature that some people are offended by, ITNA PRESS, newly based in L.A. but born in NYC, has released the first two titles from its ITNA ICONS Collection, an imprint featuring a curated catalog of books that challenge conventional notions of literary classics.
The first is the widely forgotten Aaron's Rod by literary legend D. H. Lawrence, a fascinating portrayal of a burnt-out working-class man of early twentieth century England, with polarizing, often frankly misogynistic and homosexual themes that made the book the target of controversy. This new edition also includes an introduction by American Library Association award winner David McConnell, whose forthcoming novel, The Beads, will be released by ITNA in September 2024.

The second, Fair to Look Upon by enigmatic author Mary Belle Freeley, is a nuanced and entertaining analysis of a woman's role in marriage as defined by the Holy Bible that deserves a place on the reading list of every contemporary young woman seeking insight and empowerment.
From daring narratives that defy societal constraints to thought-provoking explorations of human nature, each title in this collection is a testament to the power of literature to inspire, provoke, and transform. Whether read for the first time or revisited with fresh eyes, these bold reprints will captivate and inspire readers of today and generations to come.
For readers seeking to engage with timeless works that defy what are considered the literary classics, the ITNA ICONS Collection offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore the depths of authentic human experience and imagination.
