~ The Kennedy Center, a grantee of the Older Americans Act through Age Strong, is offering a variety of recreational activities for older adults at their Community Resource Center in Charlestown. Located at 15 Tufts Street, the center provides services such as food distribution, exercise classes, health education, and translation services to meet the diverse needs of its visitors.
Among the fall activities for older adults are a Strength and Balance class on Thursdays at 11 a.m., a friendly cooking competition called "Senior Chef," and monthly Senior Paint sessions led by Sophia Moon. The Kennedy Center is excited to welcome both new and returning residents to participate in these activities.
