~ Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and the Community Engagement Cabinet have announced the launch of the Fenway Community Impact Grant, a new program aimed at supporting non-profit organizations in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood. With a total of $60,000 allocated for this grant, 501(c)(3) non-profits or fiscal sponsors serving the community are encouraged to apply.
In a statement, Mayor Wu expressed her gratitude to their partners for their leadership in supporting community-based organizations and providing resources and opportunities for residents in Fenway and Kenmore. She also highlighted the importance of these organizations in making Boston a family-friendly city.
The Fenway-Kenmore Neighborhood Impact Grant aims to strengthen the efforts of non-profits in providing access to resources and programming that directly impact the lives of community members. The Community Engagement Cabinet's ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life for residents throughout Boston, and this funding will help make that possible.

She believes that this funding will be a much-needed investment in supporting these non-profits' efforts in connecting communities with essential resources such as healthcare, education, and arts.
Interested organizations must meet certain criteria before applying for the grant. Only 501(c)(3) non-profits or fiscal sponsors based in Fenway-Kenmore are eligible. Additionally, they must serve families, veterans, and/or residents in need by improving their health, education, or recreational opportunities.
The deadline for applications is Friday, September 20 at 5 p.m. EST. For more information on how to apply, interested parties can reach out to the Community Engagement Cabinet via email at community.engagement@boston.gov.
