~ Boston residents are invited to attend an open house on Thursday, February 13, 2025 to learn about the design of a new community center in the Grove Hall section of Dorchester. The event, organized by Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF), the City of Boston's Public Facilities Department (PFD), and the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services, will take place from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Grove Hall Branch of the Boston Public Library.
Attendees will have the opportunity to view a model of the proposed design and speak directly with members of the design team, as well as representatives from BCYF and PFD. This open house is part of a transparent and inclusive community process as BCYF and PFD work through the design phase.

To learn more about this project, including how the location was selected and to review the final presentation from the first phase of this process, interested individuals can visit Boston.gov/BCYF-Grove-Hall. Additionally, interpretation, translation, and disability accommodation services will be provided at no cost. Those in need of other accommodations are encouraged to contact LCA@boston.gov or call 617-635-4864 by February 10.
