BOSTON, July 25, 2024 ~ Boston Pickle Club, the premier indoor pickleball facility in Boston, is expanding its reach with a second location in Norwell. The new facility, set to open in mid-Q4 2024, will offer state-of-the-art amenities and professional instruction for players of all ages and skill levels.
The decision to open a second location comes just months after the successful grand opening of their first facility in Hyde Park this past April. The new location, conveniently located just three minutes off of Route 3 at 77 Accord Park Drive, will span 28,000 square feet and feature ten indoor courts.
Joe Pearce of Cushman & Wakefield represented Boston Pickle Club in securing the lease for the new space, while Ellison Patten of Lincoln Property Company represented the owner AEP Realty Trust. The facility boasts a 20-foot clear ceiling height and smooth flooring, making it an ideal setting for premier regulation indoor courts.
In addition to the courts, plans for the new facility include a reception area, merchandise shop, locker room with showers, two lounge areas, a performance training section, an office and kitchenette for food and beverages, and multiple viewing locations. These amenities are designed to provide an exceptional experience for all visitors.

Co-Founder Steven Hauck expressed his excitement about expanding their footprint and creating a community of pickleball lovers across Boston. "If you've been to our facility in Hyde Park it is evident we are creating a new category for indoor pickleball," said Hauck. "We combine the highest quality lights, ceiling clearance with low body impact and high performance court surfaces."
The Norwell location will operate on a membership-based model catering to individuals, seniors, families, and juniors. Hauck emphasized that while members will enjoy substantial benefits, the facility will also be open to the public. This inclusive approach aligns with the nature of pickleball as a sport that welcomes players of all levels.
One aspect that sets Boston Pickle Club apart is its professional instruction component, which will cater to players of all ages and skill levels. This will provide an opportunity for players to improve their game and enhance their overall experience at the facility.
As the opening date approaches, the Boston Pickle Club promises to share exciting updates, including renderings of the space, membership information, and events at South Shore establishments where visitors can meet the team.
