Cancer Education and Research Institute® receives approval for second year of CCF Grant Funding for expansion of the CERI Personalized Patient Program™.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - BostonChron -- Cancer Education and Research Institute® (CERI), a leader in healthcare equity and equality by providing access to high-quality cancer treatment and care for all, today announced the receipt of $1,500 in additional grant funding from the Cambridge Community Foundation (CCF). The grant supports ongoing expansion activities of the CERI Personalized Patient Program™ within the Cambridge community in 2022. This second year grant will allow assistance with patient intake and outreach.
The CERI Personalized Patient Program™ is a uniquely designed program and is active worldwide since CERI's inception in 2013. It is built on the bases of healthcare equity and equality for everyone worldwide, providing personalized access to high-quality cancer treatment and care and health insurance as applicable. Since its inception, CERI served more than 2,500 patients around the globe. Through the program, CERI was able to turn around "no hope" cases, and more than 90% of all of its patients are, to date, cancer-free.

"We are thrilled having received approval for a second year grant support by the Cambridge Community Foundation to continue expanding our program within the Cambridge community", said Dr. Ayguen Sahin, MSc, PhD, chief executive officer and cancer lead of CERI. "This grant is truly critical for us to manage the extensive patient intake process and to reach as many patients and the public as possible. May it be cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment and care, and life after survival; timely action is the most critical part of a successful outcome when it comes to cancer," she continued.
Thanks to the support of CCF, Cambridge residents of all ages may apply to the program free of charge at canceredinstitute.org/patient-program. Patients or the public can submit their inquiry, which may include personalized access to cancer screening, treatment options and care, clinical trials, healthy lifestyle and diet for cancer prevention or life after survival. The program provides multi-language support.
