HANOVER, Mass. - BostonChron -- Global Learning Charter Public School (GLCPS) will host their annual Global Gala to raise funds for the Global Scholarship Fund on Saturday, April 29th from 6 to 9 pm at the Allendale Country Club in North Dartmouth, MA.
The Global Gala raises funds for the Global Scholarship Fund. The Global Scholarship Fund provides college scholarships for graduating seniors and for eligible students to attend summer academic travel programs, alleviating the financial burden for students and their families. Tickets are available on their website at www.glcps.org.
The event will feature Bansari Patel as the high school student speaker.

"We look forward to the Gala every year as a way to connect with others and raise funds for our students to expand their educational pursuits," said Dr. Stephen Furtado, Executive Director of GLCPS. "As a community we are able to gather and really make a difference in the lives and opportunities for our students. We look forward to a successful fundraiser."
GLCPS is a tuition-free public charter school serving 500 New Bedford students in Grades 5-12. Students are enrolled through a blind lottery. Additional information is available on the school's website, www.glcps.org. For more information, please contact the school at (508) 991-4105.
