HINGHAM, Mass. - BostonChron -- TGIF….almost?! Thursdays can sometimes feel like such long days. Not just because of how much there is to get done or the thought of how close the weekend is. It's more about how tomorrow is Friday … which at Mequoda Publishing Network, home of GreenPrints, means it is time for some Funny Business. Every Friday at GreenPrints, we provide a funny illustration in need of a caption. You're invited to submit your caption idea by clicking the illustration and entering your entry in the comments section. Who can resist the unique illustrations and all of the humorous caption suggests? Definitely not me!

Each week (Friday mornings to be exact) a new illustration in need of captioning is shared in our Daily newsletter, as well as on the website, along with some great stories. It is so much fun to participate and read the captions that people are submitting.

Mid-March we featured this adorable happy puppy illustration. Some of the recommended captions were:

• "You mean you're REALLY REALLY gonna put my picture in your magazine. WOLF WOLF!!!"
• "Good morning, Sunshine. I aerated and irrigated your garden seeds you planted yesterday… all by myself!"
• "Let's get diggin', I smell spring!!"

Anyone can participate in this fun contest! We choose a winner quarterly, and winning captions will be acknowledged in the print and digital editions of an upcoming GreenPrints Magazine. Winners get a FREE one-year subscription to the magazine. Each new Contest begins when a new illustration is published and ends when a winner is chosen for acknowledgment in a quarterly magazine issue.
