Award-winning singer-songwriter Jann Klose has extended his deal with The Royalty Network through 2026 and has released a new single called "The Lost Kingdom" with Rachel Flowers
NEW YORK - BostonChron -- Award-winning singer-songwriter Jann Klose has extended his deal with The Royalty Network through 2026. Jann initially signed with the NYC-based publishing company in 2020 but could not meet in person due to the then active Covid restrictions. On Friday, October 18th Jann met with the new president and general counsel Daniel Abowd and KMG Distribution manager Ross Robey to ink the deal.
Founded in 1994, the Royalty Network has grown to represent over 700,000 compositions, including works from some of the most prolific songwriters and producers across genres, with hits featured on albums by the likes of Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake. The Royalty Network's music has also appeared in high-profile film, TV, and advertising placements, including blockbuster films like "Black Panther," "Creed 2," and "Bad Boys For Life" and campaigns for Target, Walmart, BMW, Levi's, and Chevrolet.

On the same day Jann signed with The Royalty Network — Oct 18th — he and renowned multi-instrumentalist Rachel Flowers released the brand-new single, "The Lost Kingdom". This deeply emotional and cinematic piece is inspired by a painting of the same name by legendary Renaissance vocalist and visual artist Annie Haslam, who co-wrote the song with Klose.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Rachel Flowers shares, "When I got the tracks from Jann, I asked myself, 'What would Annie do, in Rachel's voice?' It was a lot of fun getting to sing and play piano on 'The Lost Kingdom.'" Jann Klose also expressed his excitement about the project, saying, "Working with Annie Haslam, Rachel Flowers, and producer Marcus Dembinski on this release was a great pleasure and a return to my rock and progressive roots. When I discovered Rachel's incredible talents, I immediately asked her to sing on the record, and she brought her magic to the piece."
