Boston Chron - Jonathan Dyer Joins Global Learning Charter Public School as a High School Math Teacher

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. - BostonChron -- Global Learning Charter Public School (GLCPS), a tuition-free public charter school that currently serves 500 students in grades 5-12, recently announced that Jonathan Dyer has joined the professional staff as a High School Math Teacher.

A resident of Raynham, MA Dyer teaches Algebra II, Algebra II Honors, Geometry Honors and Algebra Labs to students in grades 9 through 12. Prior to teaching Dyer spent 28 years in the occupational health & safety field. He has worked as an Environmental Health, Safety and Crisis Manager for Proctor and Gamble and Coca-Cola. He most recently worked for Nexamp Solar.

Dyer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Bridgewater State University and earned a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from Brown University. He is a certified safety professional. He has been a coach for Special Olympics for 30 years and met his wife when both were volunteering for the organization. A native of White River Junction, VT Dyer and his wife raised their children in Raynham, MA.
