Census focuses on the Post-COVID 'New Normal' for Coders and HIM Professionals
BEDFORD, Mass. - BostonChron -- Libman Education is inviting HIM professionals to take part in the 2023 HIM Professional Census, the 5th in an annual series of surveys creating benchmarks for the HIM profession and projecting future trends.
"Our survey this year is focused on the 'new normal' for HIM professionals," said Susan Pepple, President of Libman Education. "In addition to our robust profile of these professionals and the work they do, new questions for 2023 relate to challenges specific to our time such as 'return to office,' finding and hiring new coders, and cross training or skills enhancement necessary for the changing demands on HIM including SDOH, ICD-11, CDI, auditing, data analytics, and effective team management. The Census will paint an up-to-date picture of what individual HIM Professionals are doing now to ensure their long term career security."
