Boston ~ Governor Maura Healey has lifted the states of emergency she declared on September 12 and 15 in response to Hurricane Lee, which has since been downgraded to a post tropical storm. Healey expressed her relief that the impacts of the storm were minimal across Massachusetts and thanked public safety officials for their preparation and response. She also expressed her gratitude to the people of Massachusetts for their resiliency and preparation. Healey further stated that the state will continue to support communities affected by flooding as they move into recovery.
