LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - BostonChron -- Patricia A. Costante, Chairman and CEO of MDAdvantage Insurance Company (mdadvantageonline.com), a leading provider of medical professional liability insurance, today announced the appointment of Pete Cammarano to its Board of Directors.
"Pete Cammarano comes to the MDAdvantage Board as a leader with extensive knowledge of the legislative and regulatory environments, and is someone who has an understanding of the complex issues facing the healthcare community," said Chairman and CEO Patricia A. Costante. "I know that Mr. Cammarano will be an invaluable resource to MDAdvantage," she added.
Mr. Cammarano currently leads a strategic advising consulting firm that provides national clients guidance and advice on state issues. Prior to starting the firm, he served as Chief of Staff to Governor Phil Murphy, making him the only individual to have served in that role for two Governors. Previously, he served as Chief of Staff to Governor Richard Codey.
Prior to joining the Murphy Administration, Mr. Cammarano was the founder and Managing Partner of CLB Partners, a Trenton-based lobbying firm that he started in 2006. He has an extensive background in the legislative and executive branches of New Jersey government. Mr. Cammarano served as the Mayor of Metuchen and was a member of the Borough Council for eight years, including three years as Council President. He is a former board member of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority and currently serves on the board of CERI and the Advisory Board of Cloudscann.
