Tamesha Logan to lead operations with her strategic, mission-focused approach
HURST, Texas - BostonChron -- Tamesha Logan has been appointed Executive Director of American Mensa, the largest of the worldwide Mensa affiliates with more than 45,000 members, 122 chapters, and special interest groups throughout the United States.
With more than 17 years of experience leading national nonprofit organizations, Logan has elevated organizational impact and brand visibility across multiple sectors through innovative marketing, strategic media outreach, and national awareness campaigns. Her work has opened new revenue pathways and garnered support from high-profile figures such as Kobe Bryant, Ken Griffey Jr., and Mark Cuban. Her media strategies have earned coverage in outlets including ESPN's Outside the Lines, The New York Times, and Forbes.
"The American Mensa Committee (Board of Directors) is excited about this appointment," said Jon Gruebele, Chair of American Mensa. "Tamesha's strategic, mission-driven approach is just what Mensa needs right now as we navigate new and exciting initiatives to grow the intellectual and social environment for our members."

In her new role, Logan will oversee American Mensa's national operations, governance partnerships, and long-term sustainability. She will also work closely with the Board of Directors to advance Mensa's mission and modernize its value proposition.
"This is an exciting challenge and opportunity," said Logan, who comes to Mensa after serving as Interim Executive Director and other leadership positions at the National Athletic Trainers' Association. "Mensa's mission of identifying and fostering intelligence for the benefit of society is more important today than ever."
Logan earned a Bachelor of Arts from Sam Houston State University, an MBA from Texas Southern University, and a certificate in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School Online. Tamesha is a 2024-26 DELP Scholar and a Certified Association Executive (CAE) with the American Society of Association Executives. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
