BOSTON, Nov. 20, 2024 ~ Boston-based company, Northern Light, has once again shown their commitment to giving back to the community by partnering with The Salvation Army Massachusetts Division. This year, they are helping fund the Cambridge Corps' 2024 Thanksgiving food distribution program, which aims to provide a holiday dinner for needy families.
The program, which has been running for several years now, is set to serve over 350 families from Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, and Medford. The Salvation Army works tirelessly each year to distribute hundreds of food bags to families in need during the holiday season.
On Thursday, November 21st, participating families will receive all the necessary ingredients for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. This includes green beans, corn, potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, stuffing and a gift card to purchase a turkey or protein of their choice. The distribution will take place at The Salvation Army's location on 402 Massachusetts Ave in Cambridge.
