Northern Light Supports The Salvation Army's 2024 Thanksgiving Meals Distribution in Cambridge

BOSTON, Nov. 20, 2024 ~ Boston-based company, Northern Light, has once again shown their commitment to giving back to the community by partnering with The Salvation Army Massachusetts Division. This year, they are helping fund the Cambridge Corps' 2024 Thanksgiving food distribution program, which aims to provide a holiday dinner for needy families.

The program, which has been running for several years now, is set to serve over 350 families from Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, and Medford. The Salvation Army works tirelessly each year to distribute hundreds of food bags to families in need during the holiday season.

On Thursday, November 21st, participating families will receive all the necessary ingredients for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. This includes green beans, corn, potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, stuffing and a gift card to purchase a turkey or protein of their choice. The distribution will take place at The Salvation Army's location on 402 Massachusetts Ave in Cambridge.

Northern Light's contribution is just one example of their ongoing support for The Salvation Army's efforts during the holiday season. CEO C. David Seuss expressed his pride in being able to help those in need during such a special time of year. He also commended The Salvation Army for their dedication to serving others.

Captain Bree Barker of The Salvation Army's Cambridge Corps Community Center expressed her gratitude towards Northern Light and other generous partners who make it possible for them to provide a happy Thanksgiving for hundreds of families. She also highlighted the reality of food insecurity in our communities and how important it is to have supportive partners like Northern Light.

Thanks to Northern Light's generosity and partnership with The Salvation Army Massachusetts Division, many families in need will be able to enjoy a warm and delicious Thanksgiving meal this year.
