~ Boston, MA - The Boston Neighborhood Basketball League (BNBL) has been a staple of summer youth sports in the city since its establishment in 1969. For over five decades, the league has provided a fun, safe, and competitive environment for players ages 6 through 18.
With the goal of promoting skill-building, friendship formation, and healthy competition, BNBL offers three age-based divisions for both boys and girls: 18 and Under, 15 and Under, and 13 and Under. This year, a new division for players aged 11 and under has been added to the lineup.
The league's season runs from July 7 to August 22, with teams competing weekly. The excitement culminates in an intense championship series in August. In order to secure a spot in the league, coaches must pre-register their teams during the month of May. Registration is now open online at boston.gov/parks-sports.
