~ Boston, MA - The Boston National Basketball League (BNBL) has been a staple of summer youth sports in the city since its establishment in 1969. For over five decades, the league has provided a fun, safe, and competitive environment for players ages 6 through 18.
With a focus on skill-building, friendship formation, and championship competition, BNBL offers three age-based divisions for both boys and girls: 18 and Under, 15 and Under, 13 and Under, and 11 and Under. Teams will compete weekly from July 6 through August 20 with an exciting championship series in August. The winning teams will be recognized at the Celebration of Champions on August 20.

In order to secure a spot in the league, coaches must pre-register their teams before June 26, 2026. Registration is now open online at boston.gov/parks-sports. For any questions or concerns, contact Roger Roberts at roger.roberts@boston.gov.
