BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Reify Health, provider of leading cloud-based solutions that connect and empower the clinical trial ecosystem, today announced that StudyTeam is now available to clinical research sites in 100 countries worldwide. In the last year alone, Reify Health has expanded availability of StudyTeam to 88 new countries. This milestone marks Reify Health's investment in providing sites with effective solutions to manage recruitment and enrollment and drastically reducing the manual work historically required from sites during trials.
"Once a protocol has been designed, research sites do the lion's share of the work to bring a clinical trial to life," said Ralph Passarella, CEO and co-founder of Reify Health. "Unfortunately, our industry has underinvested in solutions that help site staff do their job more efficiently and effectively. Developing solutions that empower research site staff to recruit and enroll patients more efficiently has been a large part of our mission for years. We've worked tirelessly to build useful technology and make it available to all research sites around the globe. We are proud to have reached this milestone on our journey, and we are committed to continuing our work to support each research coordinator in every country where clinical trials are run."
Clinical research sites typically spend countless hours managing recruitment and enrollment and duplicating work manually. StudyTeam solves this problem by giving sites a centralized platform to manage patients across all trials and sponsors. Additionally, the platform connects directly with research sponsors so that critical enrollment information can be communicated securely and in real time. Sites using StudyTeam enroll over 15 percent more patients per month compared to sites that don't use StudyTeam. Additionally, sites using StudyTeam have also reported a substantial decrease in the time clinical research coordinators spend managing recruitment and enrollment for sponsor trials.

Currently, more than 2,700 global research sites use StudyTeam to manage patient recruitment and enrollment. Those sites are connected seamlessly and securely with numerous leading biopharma sponsors - including Amgen, AstraZeneca, and Eli Lilly and Company - so that critical information about recruitment activity can be shared in real time without sites needing to duplicate work they have already done.
"StudyTeam has been a game-changer for our site network," said Rebecca Goldfaden, vice president of clinical operations at East Coast Institute for Research. "It takes hours-long processes that our coordinators were required to do by the sponsors and compresses them to minutes - giving us more time to work with and educate patients. StudyTeam also helps us recruit and enroll qualified patients more effectively. Our entire team can work together seamlessly in the system increasing our capacity to enroll the right patients in the right trials quickly."
Additional benefits reported by sites using StudyTeam include:

Additional benefits reported by sites using StudyTeam include:
- A simple user experience that's built around site workflows. StudyTeam for Sites was developed based on thousands of hours of research with site staff and designed by current and former Research Coordinators at sites. Reify Health did this to ensure StudyTeam fits into how sites work as opposed to giving sites one more place to go to track their work.
- A single, centralized portal for recruitment, pre-screening and enrollment activities. Sites spend countless hours managing recruitment and enrollment activities in separate sponsor-backed solutions. They are then forced to duplicate these efforts for each sponsor with which they work. StudyTeam gives a centralized place to do this across all trials and sponsors.
- A more secure way to share information with sponsors. Patient privacy is of paramount importance to all sites. StudyTeam has built in features to virtually eliminate the possibility of inappropriately sharing patient health information with sponsors.
- Zero cost to sites - StudyTeam is completely free for sites.
