North American launch of the GL7430 and the GL9730, 140-165 ppm cut-sheet printers
WOBURN, Mass. - BostonChron -- RISO, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of two new models to our cut sheet inkjet printer lineup. Introduced to the public for the first time at the Printing United 2022 trade show in October, we proudly present the ComColor GL7430 and the GL9730, now available for purchase in North America.
The ComColor GL7430 is a five-color cut sheet inkjet device with a rated speed of 140 PPM – faster than the previous model at 130. Additional changes to the inks in the GL series result in an increased color gamut, particularly in the yellow range, which allows for more accurate reproductions of color.
The ComColor GL9730 is among RISO's fastest inkjet printers, delivering cold, flat, and dry color output at speeds of up to 165 PPM. Designed specifically for high speed and high volumes, the GL9730 is a workhorse for production printing, with the ability to run non-stop during peak printing periods.
The series offers impressive reliability that belies their compact appearance. RISO is the only oil-based inkjet Ink on the market, and as such requires no dryer or de-curler in its design, resulting in a shorter paper path and faster throughput. Both models can be paired with a variety of feeding and finishing accessories that greatly increases the units' capacity and versatility. A new processing RIP (Controller) from EFI also boosts productivity with a 26% increase in processing speed, allowing for streamlined workflow and faster turnaround time.
