NORWELL, Mass. - BostonChron -- Road to Responsibility (RTR), one of the region's largest and most successful nonprofit organizations supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, last night announced the launch of its "Empowering Dreams, Igniting Possibilities" Endowment Campaign.

Proceeds from the campaign will create an Endowment Fund, and the annual revenue will directly support RTR's mission of providing opportunities and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to aid them in becoming productive members of their communities.

The "Empowering Dreams, Igniting Possibilities" Endowment Campaign is designed to ensure long-term sustainability and growth and enhance key components of RTR's programs, which include residential services, day habilitation, employment services, and community integration. RTR has seen first-hand the challenges and periodic inconsistency associated with state funding.  Creating this vital Endowment will also help to create sustainability in challenging economic times.

"By contributing to this Endowment, donors can help empower dreams and ignite possibilities for many individuals, making a lasting impact on their lives," said Christopher T. White, Ed.D., president and CEO of Road to Responsibility. "This campaign is not just about funding – it's about ensuring that we can continue to provide essential services and support for years to come.
