August started with a trip to Boston, MA to the eTail Convention. We were so excited to learn about so many of the new trends happening in retail (and etail). It was fascinating and informative. We made some great connections that will help us bring some innovative changes over the next few months.
We ended August with the annual GardenComm convention. It was a whirl-wind week of learning what other gardening writers and publishers are focusing on. There are so many new things that we now plan to expand on and explore. Speaking on exploring, the week ended with tours of some truly lovely gardens. We are so thankful that we were able to be a part of the GardenComm convention and are still glowing with joy over winning a Silver Laurel.
I hope you are all enjoying the last bits of summer as much as I have been. I am already feeling a bit of a bite in the air each morning. The sun is setting so much earlier now and I am trying to squeeze as much sunshine into each day as I can. I hope you all are as well!
