BEDFORD, Mass. - BostonChron -- Libman Education announces Tara M. Jarvis, MS, RHIA, has joined the firm as Director of Education and Training. In this role, Tara will be responsible for a growing body of professional development training resources that empower HIM and RCM professionals with the advanced knowledge and skills they need to positively impact their organization's financial viability.
"I see my role as an advocate for the HIM and RCM professional," said Tara Jarvis upon appointment as Director of Education and Training for Libman Education. "HIM and RCM is not an easy profession, and the pace of change will only accelerate, but having an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the success of healthcare organizations is thrilling."
Tara continued: "I have admired Libman Education's training content for years and appreciate the robust foundation on which we will build future professional development materials. HIM is central to the healthcare revenue cycle, and training is essential to ensuring HIM and RCM staff are prepared for the challenges they face now and in the future."

Tara joins Libman Education with over 25 years of progressive experience as an HIM professional and subject matter expert in operations, coding, and billing. Tara's experience includes hands-on instruction and leadership in both academic and corporate professional training settings. Tara holds a Master's in Health Services Administration and a Bachelor's in Health Information Management. She is an active member of the Florida Health Information Management Association and the American Health Information Management Association.
