US-based tour operator Tenon Tours opens a new office location in Killarney, Ireland
READING, Mass. - BostonChron -- US-based tour operator Tenon Tours opened its doors to a new office in Killarney, Ireland. The new location is based at 18 College Street, above Murphy's Bar, where Tenon Tours President first dreamed of occupying an Ireland-based office 15 years ago.
"15 years ago, I visited Killarney for the first time - and fell in love. But I specifically remember going to Murphy's Bar on College St. where I had my first Guinness stew. It was delightful, but the building itself was even better. It was the quintessential "Ireland" that I was looking for. The facade was straight out of a storybook with its inviting windows and doors, flower boxes hanging above and the classic Irish hospitality that you dream of. The highlight for me was always the traditional pub sign that hung perpendicular above the door. I wanted a pub sign of our own. In fact, the Tenon crest was originally designed to resemble just that."
