HAVERHILL, Mass. - BostonChron -- Black Diamond PR & Sport Management Firm, one of the top 10 independently owned Sport Management Firms in the U.S., is pleased to announce the signing of their client, middle linebacker, Michael Kwegyir-Attah, to the West Texas Warbirds.

The 6 foot 2 inch, 238-pound linebacker started his collegiate career at Monroe College, where he redshirted and led the team in tackles his freshman year. Michael Kwegyir-Attah made First Team All-Conference with 100 tackles, 5 sacks and was also named one of the GridIron Top 20 linebackers in the country. He finished his college career at Norfolk State and had just as impressive stats.

"I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to play for the West Texas Warbirds," said Kwegyir-Attah. "I look forward to working hard and helping the team have a successful season."

The West Texas Warbirds are located in Odessa, Texas.  They are part of the Champions Indoor League (CIF). The organization comprises eight teams that include the Oklahoma Flying Aces, Amarillo Venom, Wyoming Mustangs, Sioux City Bandits, Salina Liberty, Omaha Beef, and the Wichita Force. Their 2020 season was cut short due to COVID-19, so they are looking forward to being back on the field.

The West Texas Warbirds will start their seventh season in March 2021.
