BUFFALO, N.Y. - BostonChron -- Embassy Global, LLC, a 100% woman-owned and WBE/WOSB-certified worldwide strategic growth marketing, PR, business development, fractional CMO/CBDO, and management consulting firm, is pleased to announce that its company president, Molly Bakewell Chamberlin, has been chosen to serve as a mentor for the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus Innovation Community Success Program (IC Success).
Established in 2023, IC Success is dedicated to furthering the core mission of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus in connecting early-stage entrepreneurs with quality mentors, marketplaces, and resources. The program aims to foster collaboration and inclusivity, particularly among individuals in marginalized and historically underserved communities in Western New York. The free, one-year IC Success program consists of two unique small business accelerator cohorts. IC Success participants benefit from weekly intensive business classes, comprehensive mentoring and coaching, and a bi-annual pitch contest. During the contest, participating IC Success entrepreneurs have the opportunity to present their business concepts before a panel of expert judges, with the goal of securing seed funding. To date, the programs of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus have supported over 500 entrepreneurs, graduated over 200 companies, and engaged more than 1,000 volunteers and supporters.
Each IC Success entrepreneur is matched and grouped together with three mentors from a diverse array of backgrounds. The mentors, including Ms. Bakewell Chamberlin, are meticulously selected by IC Success based on their demonstrated track records of entrepreneurial success, community involvement and leadership, small business advocacy and mentorship, and support for diversity, equality, and inclusion. Each mentor leverages their own wealth of knowledge and experience when coaching small business owners on the entrepreneurial journey across the full program term.

Ms. Bakewell Chamberlin, a resident of Hamburg, New York, founded the all-virtual Embassy Global, LLC in 2008 with the aim of assisting B2B engineered component manufacturers in enhancing their industry visibility and accelerating global sales. Embassy Global offers targeted, one-of-a-kind sales and marketing programs, each of which leverages Ms. Bakewell Chamberlin's own 25 years of global technical and industry experience. Since its inception, Embassy Global has helped over 200 brands across a range of industries to achieve more rapid, sustainable, and measurable sales growth, including from export activities, within niche vertical markets.
In addition to her role at Embassy Global and her support for IC Success, Ms. Bakewell Chamberlin serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the National Small Business Association (NSBA). NSBA is one of the nation's oldest and largest nonpartisan grassroots small business advocacy organizations, comprised of more than 65,000 members. As a Trustee, Ms. Bakewell Chamberlin advocates for NSBA's legislative priorities before policymakers in Washington, D.C. Her dedication to this advocacy work resulted in her being recognized as a 2022 finalist for the NSBA Small Business Advocate of the Year Award. In addition to her advocacy work, Ms. Bakewell Chamberlin actively contributes on a global scale as an author, speaker, presenter, podcast guest and expert on small business and technology topics.
According to Juweria Dahir, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, "IC Success is pleased to again welcome Molly Bakewell Chamberlin to our program. Molly provides our entrepreneurs with several unique vantage points. She is Western New York born and raised. She has been a successful global entrepreneur for the past 15 years, in a business that she founded herself, from scratch. She is a true world expert, connector, and influencer across multiple niche technology fields. She is also a nationally recognized small business advocate, mentor, and trailblazer for diversity, equality, and inclusion in the technology sector. Molly has succeeded long-term in an industry where women have historically been so grossly underrepresented. She sets an example for our entrepreneurs, in giving back so generously of her time, wisdom, and resources. We look forward to this, and many other future collaborations, with Molly for the benefit of our IC Success entrepreneurial community."

Ms. Bakewell Chamberlin explains, "When I established Embassy Global fifteen years ago, there were few-to-no programs offering ongoing mentoring, advocacy, and support to new entrepreneurs. As a founder, I had to learn through trial and error. That's why I strive to be the kind of mentor, trusted sounding board, and supportive ally to IC Success entrepreneurs that I once needed myself. Thanks to the outstanding leadership of Juweria Dahir and her amazing team, IC Success brings an incredible resource for business growth and development to entrepreneurs in Western New York. What truly sets the program apart is the genuine atmosphere of positivity, support, teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration that is actively fostered among both mentors and entrepreneurs. It is truly an honor for me to be a mentor for IC Success and to meaningfully contribute to the further development of small businesses in Western New York."
