BEVERLY, Mass. - BostonChron -- After a career in technology, Joseph V. Randazzo has begun an unexpected new chapter as a novelist. His debut, Finding Alma: Bound by Rules, Broken by Circumstance, was released October 21 through his Beverly-based independent publishing imprint, Wave Point Press.

A Story of Courage, Sacrifice, and the Unexpected

Set in Bolivia, Finding Alma begins with an aviation incident that sets in motion a series of events connecting two families whose lives would otherwise never intersect.

At the center of the story is the disappearance of a young girl and the desperate search to bring her home. As the characters confront danger, uncertainty, and difficult moral choices, they discover that doing what is right sometimes demands more than they ever imagined they could give.

From Technology Leadership to Fiction Writing

Randazzo retired in 2024 following a career spanning more than forty years in information technology, including senior leadership positions in the semiconductor industry.

His transition to fiction writing was influenced by his professional experience, personal observations, and lifelong fascination with true stories of survival and ordinary people confronting extraordinary circumstances that reveal the depths of human courage, resilience, and character.

Finding Alma is a novel that combines suspense with an exploration of how unexpected events can transform lives.

An Independent Publishing Venture

Randazzo established Wave Point Press in Beverly, Massachusetts, as an independent publishing imprint dedicated to compelling, thought-provoking fiction.
